Can Ben Spies continue his Domination in Qatar?

Ben Spies Phillip Island Finish Ben Spies debut in World Superbike found him taking Superpole and a race win away from the season opener in Phillip Island.  The question that arises is that Spies had plenty of track time in Phillip Island with the pre race testing and his (Xbox training) learning the track.

Qatar is an entirely different track with no pre track time allowed execpt for the first practice session this Thursday.  Can Spies adapt to the Losail quickly enough to become competitve?  Will the weather hold out as last weeks MotoGP tests had a lot of issues with rain and wind.  Those questions will be answered soon this Thursday as the World Superbike grid will take to Losail for round 2 of the World Superbike series.

Ben Spies the American rookie aboard his new Yamaha R1 will be trying to continue his competitive front running.  Stay tuned for more updates as testing begins this Thursday.

I don’t call 4th in the championship and second-fastest pole-time dominant. Sure he’s fast and sure, he’ll be at the sharp end most weeks, but dominant?

We’ll see, but Haga is the one to watch.
